This is a set of wooden tray made with mother of pearl followed by light lacquer work. Mother of pearl inlaid in the pattern of bamboo, chrysanthemum on the large rectangular tray, and orchid, cherryblossom on the each of small trays. These 4 plants - bamboo, plum, chrysanthemum, orchid - have been regarded as 4 gracious plants in oriental belief as they symbolise wisdom & honour in Korea.

Small trays can be used as a coaster or serving tray.
